Our birch firewood is amazing if we do say so ourselves! We’ve burned all sorts over the years and we always come back to birch as our preferred fuel. Why do we prefer birch? Because it has a lovely smell in the living room when stacked beside the fire and also because it burns with the most magnificent orange flame when compared to ash or oak.
If you’ve had a stove with a big flame picture (door!) installed then birch will make it look amazing!
